Katherine “K.C.” Georgulas, MA, LPC-S has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout her career. She currently owns a private practice where she works primarily with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and patterns such as perfectionism and people-pleasing.
Her clinical work is informed by psychodynamic, Adlerian, person-centered, humanistic, and existential theories, with an emphasis on emotional awareness, insight, and helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their patterns and relationships.
K.C.’s supervision approach is grounded in a developmental model, recognizing that counselors grow through different stages of professional identity and competence. She tailors supervision to the needs of the supervisee and emphasizes thoughtful case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and the development of the counselor’s own clinical voice. While she brings an integrative perspective to supervision, she encourages supervisees to conceptualize cases using the theoretical orientation that resonates most with them.
Supervisees working with K.C. can expect a collaborative supervision environment that balances support with professional growth, helping counselors build confidence in their clinical judgment while continuing to deepen their theoretical understanding and clinical skills.
