Biography

Tracey Rodriguez, LMFT, Psy.D
Clinical Supervisor • Trauma Specialist • EMDR Clinician
My academic and clinical training are grounded in a strong integration of evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and whole-person healing.
I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Levels 1 and 2, and I work extensively with clients navigating complex trauma, relationship distress, attachment wounds, and mind-body integration. My approach is deeply influenced by EMDR and systemic theories, with emphasis on helping clients—and supervisees—develop clinical clarity, intentionality, and a supportive therapeutic presence.
As a supervisor, I value professional growth, emotional safety, ethical practice, and skill mastery. I enjoy helping developing clinicians refine their clinical voice, deepen case conceptualization, understand trauma dynamics, strengthen confidence, and integrate advanced interventions such as EMDR, EFT, and trauma-focused modalities. I believe that good supervision is collaborative, reflective, and rooted in both structure and compassion. I welcome supervisees who are motivated, eager to grow, open to feedback, and committed to ongoing professional development.
Some things I want potential supervisees to know:
I prioritize ethical, legally sound, research-supported clinical work.
I provide a supportive and non-judgmental learning environment.
I encourage creativity, personal growth, and theoretical integration.
I value faith-sensitive and culturally humble practice, and I welcome supervisees of all backgrounds.
I strive to help you become a confident, effective, and attuned clinician capable of working with diverse populations and complex cases.
My supervision style is warm, structured, collaborative, and anchored in the belief that clinicians thrive when they feel supported, challenged, and seen for their unique strengths. My goal is to help you build a foundation of excellence that you will carry throughout your professional career.
