I have 20+ years of experience working with diverse individuals in higher education, corporate, community, and private mental health agency settings. I am a career transitioner (engineering to human resources to counseling). I am energized by supporting and empowering adults experiencing stressors associated with career decisions, performance anxiety, emotion regulation, impostor syndrome, self-confidence, identity, life transitions, burnout, navigating change, chronic health conditions, addiction, grief/loss, depression, and family/friendship/relationship challenges. I am trained as a Certified QPR Gatekeeper for Suicide Prevention and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.

Education: I received my M.Ed. in Counseling from University of Houston and Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Saybrook University.

Theory and Specialties: I utilize a strengths-based, relational, empathic approach to supervision and counseling. I have experience with modalities such as Humanistic/Person-Centered, Trauma Informed Care, CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness.
