Biography

Memberships: Texas Supervisor Coalition Group Member, Member of the Texas Counseling Association, Kate Walker Training 40 Hour Supervisor Course Graduate

Education: I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology from The University of Texas at Tyler.

Theory and Specialties: I specialize in anxiety disorders, with a focus on high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, and trauma-informed care. Over the last decade, I’ve dedicated my practice to helping clients navigate these challenges, particularly within marginalized communities such as women, folx of color, and the LGBTQ population. My approach to counseling is rooted in a behavioral, trauma-informed, person-centered, and EMDR-trained framework, and I am passionate about providing inclusive, affirming care for all identities and bodies. For potential supervisees, I believe in creating a supportive and collaborative learning environment. My goal is to guide you in building your own identity as a clinician while prioritizing both client care and your professional wellness. I have a deep commitment to mentoring women and folx of color in private practice, knowing how important it is to increase their representation in the field. I want to help you grow into your strengths, navigate challenges, and develop a practice that reflects your passion for serving others.
