Mr. Jason Fort
LPC-S 77473Biography
I have lived a culturally, spiritually, and clinically diverse life which I will bring to bear in supervising your clinical growth in to the counselor you desire to become. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, my direct hours were completed in impatient psycho ranging from Intake to clinical director, and I readily engage in a diverse population of clients across race, gender, religion/spiritual practices, and walks of life. My sole reason for becoming a supervisor is to expedite new counselors into the field with as little suffering as possible.
Membership: Kate Walker Training 40 Hour Supervisor Course Graduate
Education: I completed my BS in Psychology from Texas A&M and MA in Counseling at Dallas Baptist University.
Theory and Specialties: I specialize in treating individual adults and couples with mood disorders, anxiety, healing religious trauma, and relationship conflicts. This also results in a fair amount of trauma care. I am Christian but faith is not required/expected of my clients or those I work with or supervise. My primary theory is CBT and I am eclectic as needed for treatment needs.
Supervision Info: Face to face supervision, Virtual supervision, Triadic supervision (two people attend and counts as individual), Group supervision, Monthly invoicing, Opportunities to work and see clients in my private practice, Online scheduling system, Supervision times before 5:00 PM
