Congratulations on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate! My name is Courtney Gabriel and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor. I was once where you are and strongly believe in giving back to those that are beginning their careers. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 10 years and an approved board supervisor since 2016. I have gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings such as residential treatment centers, community mental health agencies, and schools.

Education: I graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Masters in Clinical Psychology.

Theory and Specialties: I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Child Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI). I am trained in Parent- Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
