LPC-S 65884Biography
I very much like doing supervision as I enjoy seeing new counselors grow into confident counselors. I also enjoy learning from my supervisees the new ideas they are learning in the area of counseling. My style is developmental as I feel strongly that, as an associate, you have completed the basic training and should be ready to work with clients. In a developmental style, I work much more closely with you and give you much more guidance and information at the beginning of your journey. As you grow and develop, I hope to move into more of a consultant role by the end of supervision. I encourage group supervision as I feel it is a great learning environment as each member of the group could be coming from different counseling environments, different theoretical orientations and different clientele.
I provide supervision for both LPC and RPT.
