At Kate Walker Training we want to partner with you to create the career you fell in love with.
You want to be prepared and well trained. Counselors must meet continuing education requirements to maintain their license. Counselors who want to become supervisors require additional training. Thousands of counselors have gotten their continuing education with us. With a board-approved LPC/LMFT supervisor training course, a variety of online courses, and up-to-the-minute counseling refresher courses, we help keep counselors licensed and working.
What We Do
We provide courses in ethics, counseling and supervision, DSM V, HIPAA, and several more core counseling and supervising areas so that counselors get the documentation they need to stay licensed. In addition, we provide the business training most graduate programs skip as well as instruction in life balance, organization, and time management. There really is no substitute for quality hands-on training provided by KWT’s experienced instructors. We use interactive training methods, practical materials, and progressive technology, not just Power Points and videos.
Our proven tools, techniques, and counselor training programs incorporate best practices of the industry and follow federal and state rules and regulations.
